These terms govern your use of The Fish Site (thefishsite.com), published by Emma Barbier trading as Ocean Desk (see our legal notice). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Using the website
The Fish Site provides news, features and analysis about aquaculture for information purposes. You may read and share our content for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, or scrape content in breach of our content use policy.
2. Accounts
Some features require a free account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to consent to processing under applicable law. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You can close your account at any time from your account settings.
3. Free article access
Some articles are available to anonymous readers up to a limited number per period; beyond that, continued reading may require a free account. We may change the number of free articles and the features available to account holders at any time.

By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and moderate that content on the site. We may remove any contribution at our discretion.

The site links to and embeds third-party content (e.g. video, charts, social posts). We are not responsible for third-party sites or content, and linking does not imply endorsement.

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version.
